Dunstan has called our attention to an interesting concept that turns the concepts you normallly think about for online consumption inside out (or upside down) with a concept called Frogpress.

The idea behind it is to create a free offline newspaper that is totally generated from content submitted by online users. Anyone can submit articles, and freedom of topics is welcomed - no registration is needed and anything from one line to a full essay can be submitted.

The term "power to the people" isn't limited only to the online world anymore. This may seem a bit of going in reverse to the trend, but makes a lot of sense for those who prefer to experience that smell of newsprint in the morning.

All we really need now is to a Newsback feed to these new "Print-on-Demand" newspapers so that people in coffeeshops the world over can have a serving of earthy news with their latte in the morning.
