Political Stock: Time to Sell Republicans and Load up on Democrats
by Webnik (Posted 11-10-2005 04:41 AM) [View Discussion | Join Discussion | Rate Thread ]

First, Democrats trump Republicans in the elections. Then Schwarzenegger (a Republican, in case you missed it) loses big-time on his efforts in California’s special election, putting a big dark cloud over his prospects for a second term. Then over at Britain, Tony Blair suffers a major defeat on his Terror Bill. Meanwhile, the Scooter Libby and Cheney issues are not going to see any foreseeable respite anytime soon.

George Bush has things so bad people are calling him toxic to Republicans, showing how his efforts to boost party officials’ standing during the elections are backfiring like crazy as the opponents of the candidates he supports are winning all over town.

What’s the world coming to? It was almost exactly one year ago when the Conservatives routed the Dems during elections, and oh how the tables have turned, and how much difference a year makes.

Mark Green has an account that would make the Right lose their appetite.

It's no wonder that President Bush is suffering a decline in poll ratings given the relentless bashing and outright lies being told about him by all leading Democrats (except Sen. Lieberman) following their playbook every day and reinforced by a biased and liberal mainstream media that hates him. The Democrats were confident of victory in November, 2004; when Americans are reminded again of the dangers facing us and the despicable record of the Democrats on defending this country, Republicans will be returned to office.
