Dutch artist Lepe Rubingh has livened up the monotonous game that's chess. How? By infusing literal punches into the strategic but dreary sport.

Called chessboxing, it alternates between beating each other's brains through strategic moves on the chessboard and trying to knock each other out by punching each other's faces.

Is there a market for such a sport in the U.S.?
