Holiday season is almost upon us. Has anyone given much thought to what they're going to be doing? With the money situation as it is my family, we may be making gifts this year instead of purchasing them. Now if I could just think of some things that I can make. lol

Make instead of buy... such a wonderfully simple concept I'm in complete surprise how come I nor many other people thought of that. Splendid idea I'll look into doing just that!

With much work going on until the photo-finish last weeks of the holiday season, I'm looking at the sweet look of R&R coming up soon.

We are making some gifts this year also. We are in a money crunch so just don't have the extra cash to go anywhere. But as long as we are healthy and happy that is the most important thing.

I have no real plans for the Holidays. I like the idea of making gifts for the holidays. I have always taught my kids as they were growing up that it so much more when you make a gift.

Another thing is, with all the recalls on toys from China, you almost can't buy anything that a kid would want if you're boycotting their toys. Does anyone else even MAKE toys now?

All I know is that 80% of the toys in the US come from China. I just cannot imagine that there will be an overabundance of toys on the shelves this year with all the recalls.
