How did terrorism, which has been around for centuries, go from a sporadic, often localized, atrocity to a global threat in the 21st Century? Are terrorists recruiting more vigorously? Do terrorist have more reasons to hate? Or have terrorists gotten more support than ever before?

The sheer brutality of this move by the dasturdly American Superpower is sure to leave Dear Leader quaking in his boots. It's bad enough having to give up caviar and Rolexs, but with no Playstation under the Lenin Tree, I just don't see how the regime can withstand these kinds of pressure tactics. Angry, shaking and defiant, Saddam Hussein was sentenced to death this morning by hanging for ordering the massacre of Iraqi civilians

He shouted: "Allahu Akbar!" (God is Greatest) and "Long live the nation!", pointing defiantly at the judge.

Looking defiant and bitter as the verdict was delivered, he continued to shout "Long live the people and death to their enemies. Long live the glorious nation, and death to its enemies!"
